Executive Director (ED)

Experience: 20+ years in banking, with senior leadership/board-level exposure (Corporate Banking, Trade Finance, Credit, or Risk)

Reports to: CEO

Role Summary

Provide strategic leadership and governance for Invorush's lending, credit, and trade finance operations — leveraging deep banking expertise to strengthen credibility with banks, regulators, and enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Set strategic direction on credit policy, risk appetite, and lending frameworks
2. Represent Invorush at board meetings, investor discussions, and regulatory interactions
3. Leverage banking network to build partnerships with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions
4. Guide product and risk teams on trade finance and working capital best practices
5. Ensure compliance with RBI/regulatory guidelines for lending and trade finance
6. Mentor senior leadership on institutional banking relationships and credit discipline
7. Act as a senior spokesperson, lending credibility in the banking/fintech ecosystem
8. Support fundraising and due diligence with banking sector insight

Requirements

1. 20+ years in banking, including 5+ years in an ED, CGM, or equivalent board-level role
2. Strong grasp of corporate lending, trade finance, credit risk, and regulatory frameworks
3. Proven governance and board-level decision-making experience
4. Extensive network across banks, NBFCs, and regulatory bodies
5. High credibility and stature within the banking and financial services industry

Preferred

1. Prior board membership or C-suite banking role (MD/CEO/ED at a scheduled bank)
2. Experience in fintech/NBFC ecosystem
3. Exposure to supply chain finance / working capital lending products
